Picture this: The Geyser in your house has stopped working and the water starts rushing out of the gaping hole. What do you do? In the above situation you would generally have three options-

1.       Call a friend to ask him for the engineer’s number

2.      Hunt for the newspaper or directory looking for missing clues

3.      Head out to catch hold of the engineer and bring him home.

The Geyser not working can be replaced with you having a tooth ache or your wife asking for the latest levis jeans or your kids insisting that you book a table in the newest food joint in town. What to do in any scenario where you need a number, address, and reviews of any business be it X, Y OR Z? Reality smacked us in the face when we learnt, surprisingly, that we were not alone in having no answer to this question.

The Effort

10 months of hard work, trials, meetings and discussions, field work and a hundred years worth of brain storming we bring you an answer- ALLinDOON.com- Your one stop to search for any business in any location in town alongwith their phone numbers, facilities provided, address, location on the map, photograph and of course your reviews.

And if that was not enough we also bring to you our READ SECTION- where you will find news, views and interviews from all over Doon and outside.

Our EVENTS SECTION is a comprehensive section for all information related to any events or happenings in Doon- plays, fairs, expos, sports events, live bands, festivals and any cultural, social or personal happenings. During our market research, the team concluded that most media- print, radio, broadcast tend to focus on topics that are big which in anyways will catch people’s attention. Well, AllinDOON will incorporate these events too but our stress is on bringing you those events, which would otherwise be missed. A local live band event will get as much priority as a Kailash Kher performance.  So feel free and share your events with us so we can make Dehradun an example of community living where we live together, party together and be a part of Uttarakhand’s history together.

The JOBS SECTION was something that was immediately required in our town. With so many aspiring graduates looking for jobs each year, we want to become a medium to connect the employer with the employee.
